FESTIVALS: FNE at Istanbul IFF: Toll Booth

    Toll Booth is the debut film by director Tolga Karacelik. It received the Best First Film, Best Actor, and Best Cinematography awards at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival in October 2010.

    Toll Booth will be released in Turkey on 6 May 2011. The film is a black comedy in the style of the Coen brothers about a lonely toll booth operator. The cast is a mix of veteran and young actors.

    The film was shot at the beginning of summer 2010, using HD camera.

    The film is produced by Karacelik Film, a company founded by the director's in early 2010.
