FESTIVALS: FNE at Istanbul IFF: Ecumenopolis: City Without Limits

    The documentary film Ecumenopolis: City Without Limits, makes its world premiere at the Istanbul Film Festival as the final screening in the National Competition.

    The film is about a migrant family from Istanbul. With a social point of view, the film tries to look at the ‘mega-cities destruction' problem.

    The film is Imre Azem's first full-length film. Azem also serves as cinematographer for the documentary. The film received support from Germany's Hamburg film fund, Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein.

    It was produced by Kibrit Film and co-produced by York Street Productions International (york-street-productions.com).
