QUAILTELEVISION HIRES JAY KANDOLA AS EUROPEAN MANAGER

    London, 11 January 2012 –Leading Australian production house QuailTelevision is following its recent expansion into the USA by hiring big hitter Jay Kandola tospearhead its growth into the UKand Europe. Appointed on a consultancy basisto the newly created position of European Manager, Jay is responsible fortaking Quail’s catalogue of successful properties to market across thecontinent.



    Having previously led theacquisitions function at director level for ITV, Channel 5 and Channel 4 in theUK,Jay brings significant experience to the role, equipping her well to maximisethe penetration of Quail’s Australia-originated finished programming andformats into European schedules. Jay has already pre-sold a coveted Quail TV telemovie and docudrama hybridproject to a UK broadcasterand is taking a pivotal role in the re-versioning of Quail’s smash hit,controversial political “spoof” sitcom, At Home With Julia forUKand European audiences.
