This rich and moving film can meet a wide audience in our cinema theatres. The young people will be touched by this story (of vendetta, codes of honour) that they may experience in their countries and they will find it here.

We were particularly interested in family efforts, solidarity within the country, the friendship between the youth in the village and the struggle of youth against the archaism of their patriarchal society.

We also wanted, with this award within the CICAE, to highlight an Albanian-language production, which is rare in our cinemas.
