CentEast Warsaw-Moscow 2012: last call for submissions!

    The call for works-in-progress from Eastern Europe to participate in CentEast Warsaw-Moscow will close on September 7.

    CentEast Warsaw-Moscow aims to give Eastern European films exposure to the international market and provide them with distribution possibilities. The selected works-in-progress will be presented to film professionals (sales agents, distributors, festival programmers, producers) gathered at two industry events. This year, for the first time the presentation in Moscow will take place prior to the Warsaw part, on October 16, in the framework on a new film market, Red Square Screenings. The presentation in Warsaw will follow on the October 19, during the 8th CentEast Market Warsaw, the industry part of the 28th Warsaw Film Festival (October 12-21).

    The eligible projects should come from one of the following countries: Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine, and be works-in-progress or completed films, but before world premiere.

    Apart from presentation of works-in-progress, the 8th CentEast Market Warsaw consists of:

    - Warsaw Screenings; closed screenings of selected, new Polish films,

    - panel discussion with the participation of the industry professionals,

    - one-to-one meetings with film professionals.

    The accreditation deadline is September 28, 2012. The accreditation form can be found on our website. The accreditation entitles the holder to free entry to all screenings and events of the 8th CentEast Market Warsaw, from 18 to 21 October.

    We would also like to offer you the possibility to place a full page advertisement in the CentEast Warsaw-Moscow catalogue, which will be distributed among the participants of both events in Moscow and in Warsaw in more than 400 copies.
