    Online accreditation for East Doc Platform is now open. Everyone is welcome in Prague, every professional may be included in a limited-access database, every meeting is within reach and every deal is ready to happen. Make sure to get accredited before it’s too late, the deadline is February 20, 2013.

    Eastern European filmmakers showed again their ongoing interest in public presentations – we have received nearly 150 entries for the pitching at East European Forum (documentary projects in production) and Doc Launchpresentation (documentary rough-cuts). The selection committee has already announced the pick of 8 documentary projects for the East European Forum, the overview is available here. Their public presentations in front of a theatre full of decision makers and meetings at feedback round tables take place after a week-long preparatory workshop.

    CompletedEast European docs are on board, too!East Silver launches the new year with East Silver Videolibrary, featuring an updated shipping of films with the current East Silver collection of the 267 latest films and the new selection of 60 fresh titles. While making sure to maintain the highest quality, East Silver Videolibrary in March is going to present the largest amount of East European documentaries ever.

    One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival2013 grows to a new venue

    More than one hundred documentary films of the 15th edition of One World festival will be screened in 9 halls in 7 cinemas in the centre of Prague from March 4 to 13, 2013. The venues grew this year by adding a large cinema of the Municipal Library with the capacity of 390 seats. Being the largest human rights documentary film festival in the world, One World 2013 will present e.g. a film category focused on impact and power of media or documentaries on urbanism and quality of life. After Prague, the festival will travel to 40 other cities and towns in the Czech Republic.
