Let us inform you about the presence of Slovak films at the48th KARLOVY VARY International Film Festival (June 28 – July 6, 2013):

On the occasion of the 80th birth anniversary of scriptwriter Tibor Vichta and the 50th anniversary of the Slovak Film Institute, the digitally restored version of the film is presented in the festival section Out of the Past.

Within the INDUSTRY DAYS of the Festival,upcoming Slovak films will be introduced in the second edition ofPITCH & FEEDBACK – films in development from Slovakia and Czech Republic, organized by the Czech Film Centre, Slovak Film Institute, Karlovy Vary IFF, in partnership with Barrandov Studios. The project presentation us scheduled for Tuesday, July 2, 10:00 at “Becher´s Villa”.

Upcoming documentaries from Slovakia will be also included in the DOCU TALENTS FROM THE EAST, taking place on Tuesday, July 2, 14:00 at “Becher´s Villa”.


and we hope to meet with many of you in Karlovy Vary and enjoy and celebrate the Slovak presence there.

Our traditional reception on the occasion of Slovak films in the programme of 48th Karlovy Vary IFF takes place on Monday, July 1, 8 pm at the terrace of the Thermal Hotel. Invitations will be distributed via the Protocol Desk in Thermal hotel.
