Siberia Doc ADA Meeting – the beginning of promising cooperation

    ADA launches new project in cooperation with its new partner - Siberia Doc organization based in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

    Siberia Doc ADA Meeting led by Adam Paplinski, the Coordiantor of ADA's educational initiatives, will be held in form of open workshop, in Krasnoyarsk on 9th and 11th of October 2015. It will consist in presentations of ADA’s programmes, consultations of film projects and discussions with local filmmakers. The Meeting will end by screening of documentary film “Kruzenshtern, directed by Maciej Cuske, made in cooperation with Dragon Forum.
    We invite everybody interested in documentary filmmaking on international co-production basis and especially for those who would like to apply with their film projects for participation in ARTDOKFEST ADA Pitching that will take place in December in Moscow.
    Siberia Doc ADA Meeting is co-financed by Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland and by Polish Film Institute.

    Only 10 days left to submit film projects for 4th edition of ARTDOCFEST ADA Pitching.

    Do not miss the deadline! The call for projects is open until October 18th!

    The session of ARDOCFEST ADA Pitching 2015 will take place during the largest festival of documentary films in Russia - ARDOCFEST from December 12th to 16th. This edition will focus on presenting possibilities for realization of film projects independently from traditional financing system in Russia and former USSR states with particular emphasis on co-production with Poland and other European countries.

    This year, in connection with cooperation with our new partner SIBERIA DOC, we specially invite and encourage filmmakers from Siberian part of Russia to submit their projects!  

    We are looking forward to receive your on-line submissions. The selection results will be announced on October 30th.

    The ARDOCFEST ADA Pitching 2015 is organized in cooperation with Russian Open Documentary Film Festival “Artdocfest” and co-financed by Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Polish Film Institute and Polish Cultural Centre in Moscow.

    Dragon Forum Award at BIDF Goulash Pitchng 2015.

    We are happy to announce that the Dragon Forum Award at BIDF Goulash Pitching 2015 gone to the project “Land of Silence” directed by Robert Lakatos.

    Fourteen projects a.o. from Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine have participated in the training and pitching session focused on international co-production, organized in frames and in partnership with Budapest International Documentary Festival 2015. The list of tutors and lecturers included Paul Pauwels, Ivana Pauerová Miloševič, Péter Kerekes, Thomas Ernst and Dorota Roszkowska, the President of Academy of Documentary Arts.

    The award was handed in Budapest, on September 26, during the Festival closing ceremony.
