In collaboration with the respected DFI / Cinemateket, the Slovak Film Institute presents a selection of films depicting the Slovak reality of today including the titles such as Koza (d. Ivan Ostrochovský, 2015), My Dog Killer (d. Mira Fornay, 2013), Miracle (d. Juraj Lehotský, 2013), Made in Ash (d. Iveta Grófová, 2012).
The handpicked selection also features classic film titles: Peter Solan´s wonderful Czechoslovak New Wave filmBefore Tonight Is Over (1965) taking place in a luxury bar at High Tatras, and two delightful works of Dušan Hanák, short social–critical documentary comedy Old Shatterhand Came to See Us (1966), and his master piece Pictures of the Old World (1972).

Festival of Slovak and Central European Film in Cran-Gevrier
The biennale Festival of Slovak and Central European Film in the French town Cran-Gevrier celebrates 10th anniversary.
The Festival, held on Nov 19 -25, willtraditionally present recent Slovak film production, with a special guest, director Martin Šulík as the patron of the Festival.
The opening film is The Candidate (2013), introduced by the director Jonáš Karásek in the La Turbine Cinema on November 21.

Slovak Films in Perth
The Czech and Slovak Film Festival of Australia reaches its final stop in Perth (Nov 19 -22).Three Slovak feature and two shorts films will be screened in the four-day programme: Seven Ravens (d. Alice Nellis, 2015), 38 (d. Daniel Dangl, Lukáš Zednikovič, 2014), Fair Play (d. Andrea Sedláčková, 2014) and the shorts Kuku (d. Henrich Žucha, 2014), and Force of Attraction (d. Eva Sekerešová, 2014).
