TWO WEEKS LEFT - the Call for Projects for Baltic Event Co-Production Market and Baltic Event Works in Progress is open until September 1, 2016

Baltic Event, the largest co-production platform in Northern and Central Europe taking place within Industry@Tallinn events of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, highlights intriguing and challenging projects from the most professional producers and promising directing talents in the region. Among the guests who have made Baltic Event a yearly meeting place, are representatives of established international sales and distribution companies, broadcasters, festivals, national, regional and international film funds as well as experienced producers.

Baltic Event Co-Production Market, presenting the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award in the amount of 20 000 Euros, provides a perfect opportunity to find financiers, co-producers and sales agents for your project during an intensive two and a half days of pre-arranged one-on-one meetings. 20 projects from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Russia, Georgia and Ukraine, plus Luxembourg, our 2016 Focus Country, will be presented.

Baltic Event Works in Progress programme showcases 12 carefully selected feature films in production or post-production looking for a sales agent or a festival for international premiere. Projects from Baltic countries and Finland; projects formerly presented at our Co-Production Market or B'EST EAVE, and projects from the year’s Focus Country Luxembourg, are welcome to apply.

Since 2002, Baltic Event has showcased ca 450 film projects, many of which have reached the silver screens across the globe and enjoyed successful festival runs. We are honoured to have had our projects selected to Cannes, Berlinale, Venice, Karlovy Vary, Warsaw, Cairo, Tribeca, etc. and earn Golden Globes and Oscars nominations.
