    The evolution of the Arthouse Exhibition

    The film industry is at a point of resetting. This panel, bringing together representatives of the film industry and policy makers, aims at reimagining the industry.

    The opening question is how the sector can be reshaped, by looking at collaborative efforts, new projects, as well as at the value of interpersonal connection and digital offers.

    It is also an occasion to look at how the arthouse exhibition is staying at top of the game, arthouse cinemas engaging their audiences at their best.

    Training and networking for the arthouse professionals

    CICAE, the International Confederation of Arthouse Cinemas, offers an international training programme for professionals working in the art-house exhibition industry. It brings together every year around 30 trainers and 50 participants coming from all over the world, for a 7-day programme of lectures, workshops, case studies and screenings. The seminar is organised with the support of the Creative Europe’s MEDIA Programme.

    A conversation of organizers and alumni will reveal the benefits of becoming part of the programme and the features of the 18th edition taking place in Venice between August 30-September 5 2021. It's also the best occasion for those interested in participating to ask questions and suggest their topics of interest.
