Poland joins EFP umbrella at American Film Market

    Poland will be represented for the first time at the American Film Market (November 5-12), joining the line up under the umbrella of European Film Promotion.

    Two organization, Polish Film Institute and Gremi Film Productions, will join the 28 industry professional from 13 European countries.

    According to Maciej Karpinski, Deputy Director/International Relations at the Polish Film Institute, "As the markets from Eastern Europe continue to open and experience strong growth, there is increasing interest from our companies in attending this important market in the heart of the filmmaking capital of the world. In addition, EFP's newly established screenings during the AFM will provide a solid and vital source of support to sales agents and producers attending this event.'"

    Hungary's TivoliFilmproductions will also be represented as part of the EFP group.

    EFP, under president Claudia Landsberger, managing director of Holland Film, will participate at AFM for the 10th time.
