COUNTDOWN TO DEADLINE for AWA Creative Documentary Workshop

    There are only few days left to apply for the 5th edition of the ARISTOTELES WORKSHOP, open to creative documentary filmmakers, DPs, editors and producers from Central and Eastern Europe, a programme which is co-financed by the French-German TV Channel ARTE.

    DEADLINE: 31st MAY 2010 !

    The Workshop will take place in Romania - Vama Village (in the Bucovina Region), between August 1st and September 5th 2010. Our courses are designed for young filmmakers with previous film and/or video experience. Preeminent experts in documentary cinema will offer professional training to the participants.

    We are proud and happy to announce that AWA productions of the previous years are now in the official selection of the best film festivals: QUEST (by Ionut Pitulescu) at Quinzaine des realisateurs Cannes, REBEL, REBEL (by Alexandru Blec&Mihai Bauman) at Visions du reel, Nyon, and WOMEN ON CANVAS (by Otilia Babara) at CRONOGRAF International Documentary Film Festival, Chişinău. We are looking forward to discovering among this year's participants new young filmmakers who will make it to the greatest film festivals in the coming years.

    Another good news is that the Best Documentary of this year's workshop will be awarded with € 3,000.
