Baltic Event and Black Market in Tallinn

Greetings,

We are glad to announce that there are variety of industry events taking place in Tallinn this year December 1-3.

Traditionally BALTIC EVENT Co-Production Market will highlight 12 projects from Baltic countries, Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe and Russia.

In Autumn we are launching a new regional business platform Black Market Online that introduces new films from Baltics, Nordic countries, Russia and Central Asia. Black Market Industry Screenings will take place December, 1-3 in Tallinn.

In addition on First of December A Literary Rights Market "Books to Films" will present literature for film adaption from above mentioned regions.

14 projects will be introduced by representatives of the books. The event will be followed by lectures on audiovisual rights.

This year's special focus throughout the events will be on Russian cinema with a Forum about co-production, financing and film distribution issues in Russia.

For the second year the scriptwriters workshop POWR Storymarket will be held December 1-2.

The industry events will be also significant because of the Award Ceremony of European Film Academy 2010 held in December 4 in Tallinn.
