PRODUCTION: Polish Artist Libera to Make Film Debut

WARSAW: Internationally acclaimed Polish artist Zbigniew Libera is in production with his directing debut, an experimental science-fiction feature titled Walser starring Krzysztof Stroiński (Fear of Falling) and Adam Sikora (Essential Killing, The Mill and the Cross) as the film’s cinematographer. Libera co-wrote the script with Grzegorz Jankowicz.

PRODUCTION: Cherry Tobacco Shooting in Estonia

TALLINN: Katrin Maimik’s coming-of-age debut film Cherry Tobacco (Kirsitubakas), written by Andres Maimik, is shooting in Estonian locations through October. It builds on the latter's previous hit comedy Kormoranid. Tobacco is produced by Kuukulgur Film, which previously released Daisy Petal Game II (Karikakramäng II), a shorts omnibus including films by the duo.
