30 films competes for Polish Film Awards ‘Eagles’ 2009

    The 11th edition of Polish Film Awards ‘Eagles' 2009 has begun with the votes by members of Polish Film Academy.

    30 films are competing this year. The competition is accompanied by the retrospective of candidate films between 12th and 30th of January.

    Over 500 members of Polish Film Academy sent their votes in the first round. The first round of the voting for Eagles 2009 will be accompanied by the retrospective of candidate films to Polish Film Awards EAGLES 2009, which will be held between the 12th and 30th of January at the cinemas Multikino Ursynów and Silver Screen Europlex.

    The Award Presentation Ceremony will be held on 9th March and the name of the Life Achievements Award winner will be announced on 3rd March.
