PODGORICA: Gojko Berkuljan’s debut feature Iskra has been chosen by the selection committee of the Montenegrin Ministry of Culture as Montenegro’s official entry for the US Academy Awards in the Foreign Language Film category.

COTTBUS: A total of 13 projects in development and six works-in-progress from 15 countries have been selected for the 20th edition of the East-West co-production market connecting cottbus, that will be held during the FilmFestival Cottbus on 8-9 November 2018.

VALENCIENNES: Applicants from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Ukraine can apply for a scholarship at the 4th edition of Cartoon Springboard, that will take place in Valenciennes (France) from 4 to 6 December 2018.

East-West co-production market connecting cottbus, held during the FilmFestival Cottbus, celebrates its 20th anniversary with a solid line-up of 13 projects in development as well as 6 works in progress.

The fourth edition of Cartoon Springboard will take place in Valenciennes, France, from 4 to 6 December 2018. It will be an excellent opportunity for the young talents of European animation schools to improve their animation project by pitching it in front of a panel of experts from the audiovisual world.

Warsaw-based New Europe Film Sales - the company behind the international success of such films as Grimur Hakonarsson’s Rams, Carla Simon’s Summer 1993, Hlynur Palmason’s Winter Brothers and Tomasz Wasilewski’s United States of Love - starts an annual talent initiative in its home town. The event will introduce talents from Poland and abroad to a leading film executives.
