Spanish director Jesús Monllaó Plana (photo) personally introduced his suspenseful story of a teenager in trouble to invited guests and Moscow's cinema-goers. During a period of five days, up to 27th October, EFP presents eleven new European films to Moscow's audiences and the Russian film industry. Additionally, EFP actively supports business meetings of European sales agents and hosts a public panel discussion at the Gogol Center on 24th October at 7.30pm. Actors, directors, a producer and a casting director who work internationally discuss, "The Power of Stars. Can Actors Drive the Success of Films?".

EFP facilitates commercial and cultural connections with Russia through WESTWIND. EFP's new programme is financially supported by the MEDIA Programme of the European Union and the participating EFP member organisations.

The presentation of the opening films are made possible with the kind support of the French Embassy in Moscow and the Spanish EFP member organization ICAA.
