Cross-media projects are pushing the boundaries of documentary film from cinema theatres to the internet. Thanks to new technologies, you no longer have to wait passively for the plot to unfold. Web documentaries enable you to become part of the story, to influence events, or to chat with the protagonists. This year’s edition of both One World and East Doc Platform give space to the cross-media projects to show the new storytelling possibilities or their connection to social campaigns.
