Fingers crossed for Chuck Norris vs. Communism at SUNDANCE!

The awards at the Sundance festival will be presented on Sunday! A great moment for our 2013 participants, Ilinca Calugareanu and Mara Adina, the team behind the debut Chuck Norris vs. Communism, competing in the World Documentary section. After the Directing Award victory for The Machine Which Makes Everything Disappear, a DOK.Incubator film from 2012, expectations are high…

The mesmerizing thriller tells the story of Romanian black-market VHS racketeer and a courageous female translator, who brought the magic of film to the people and sparked a revolution in 1989. "Opening at Sundance and sharing our story with such an amazing audience has truly been a dream come true for us! And we could not have done it without DOK.Incubator where we met our brilliant editor, Per K Kirkegaard" claims Mara Adina (Vernon Films), the producer of the film.

At DOK.Incubator, the 8 selected projects gain access to top international editors, producers, marketing experts and distributors to work with individually for 6 months.

The submission DEADLINE at www.dokincubator.net is March 3rd, 2015!
