ZAGREB: Writer/director Bobo Jelčić is in preparation with All Alone / Sam samcat, an intimate character study and a social drama about a divorced father struggling with the legal labyrinth without breaking the parental bond. The film is a Croatian/Bosnian coproduction.
The story written by Jelčić focuses on a divorced father who starts ex-parte proceedings to spend more time with his daughter, but enters the Kafkaesque world of a social services system in meltdown. His fierce love for his child is the source of his misery and of his greatest joy as well.
