This year’s Month of Our Film will feature 450 screenings of 70 Croatian films in 70 cinemas throughout the country, curated by Croatian film critic Boško Picula and presented from 2 until 31 May 2024.

“The Month of Our Film was originally conceived as a one-time programme within the celebratory year, but we noted great feedback and motivation within the Independent Cinemas Network, as well as other independent cinemas and multiplexes. The decision to relaunch it as an independent project was a logical turn of events. The main mission of the Month of Our Film is to encourage the audience to more actively follow domestic films,” said Chris Marcich, Head of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre.

Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Pula Film Festival, the programme includes a symbolic 70 films that have won the main prizes at Croatian festivals such as the Pula Film Festival, Animafest, ZagrebDox, Zagreb Film Festival, Motovun Film Festival, 25FPS, Days of Croatian Film, and others.
