PRAGUE: Eighteen police officers are charged with illegally working for film productions in the Czech Republic.
The police officers have been arrested on charges of bribery and abuse of office. They had accepted payment to work for filmmakers, using their authority to close down traffic for film shoots among other offences. The officers had violated a prohibition on taking second jobs.
The accused could receive jail sentences of up to eight years.
