Krakow IFF Begins Film Selection

    {mosimage}KRAKOW: The 52nd Krakow IFF (28 May - 3 June 2012, www.krakowfilmfestival.pl) announced it received 2,475 film submissions, including 263 Polish films, for consideration for its three competitions (two international and one Polish).

    The selected films will be announced 20 March.

    Documentary and short films (fiction, documentary and animation) will be vying for 52,000 euros in prize money.

    Accompanying the festival will be a presentation of Polish documentaries in the final stages of production, sponsored by the Polish Film Institute (www.pisf.pl), the Krakow Film Market (beginning 29 May) and the Dragon Forum Pitching (31 May - 4 June).
