Nielsen Wins Polish Tender

    WARSAW: The international audience research firm Nielsen was awarded the tender to create a TV audience measurement panel in Poland.

    Nielsen will work with Poland's ad sales company Atmedia (www.atmedia.pl) and cable company UPC (www.upc.pl), surveying 5,000 households. The four-year contract was awarded by public broadcaster TV Polska (www.tvp.pl). Data is expected to be available as early as May 2012.

    Nielsen, which has operated audience research in Poland since 1996, won out over two competitors.
