The Polish Film Institute said the Italian distributor is Cecchi Gori Home Video screening Majewski's work under the title Onirica. The film was co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. World sales are handled by Wide Management. The title has not yet premiered in Poland in regular distribution.

Field of Dogs is the story of Adam, a literature scholar who has a hard time connecting with the surrounding world after surviving an accident. He quits his job and becomes a store cashier in order to have more time to study Dante's Divine Comedy. "These are intimate visions, things that are in my head that are taking place in Katowice. Why Katowice? I was born there, I live all over the world, but the visions that I have are usually connected with this place," Majewski said.

The film was produced by Stowarzyszenie Twórców i Mecenasów Kultury i Nauki Angelus Silesius, and coproduced by Cecchi Gori Home Video, Bokomotiv Filmproduktion AB, Silesia-Film, OdeonRybarczyk Productions, 24 Media, and emAudio.
