ScripTeast at Berlinale 2015, 9th Edition, 7-10 February

    11 projects from 7 Central and Eastern European countries are developed within 9th edition of ScripTeast.

    Journey to Fellini by Matej Minač (Czech Republic)
    Marita by Cristi Iftime and Anca Buja (Romania)
    Masaryk by Julius Sevcík and Petr Kolečko (Czech Republic)
    Nanook by Milko Lazarov and Simeon Ventsislavov (Bulgaria)
    The Man with the Magic Box by Bodo Kox (Poland)
    The Tattooist by Agda B Pain and Martin Repka (Slovakia)
    Glebe by Ioan Antoci (Romania)
    The Uncle Who Looked Like Me by Katrin Maimik and Andres Maimik (Estonia)
    Wild Roses by Anna Jadowska (Poland)

    Each of them tells a different, fascinating, entertaining story with inspiring thoughts. Among the 11 projects variety of genre is presented. For the past few months authors of the scripts have been working hard with acclaimed Creative Advisors:

    led by the excellent Heads of Studies, Tom Abrams and Christian Routh.

    All authors of the scripts will be present in Berlin 7th-10th February.     ScripTeast is one of the best of training programmes with 14 films produced after 8 editions. It is addressed to the best scriptwriters from Eastern and Central Europe. The aim is to help the scriptwriters strengthen their scripts, make it interesting for wide international audience, it is meant to enhance the best written scripts’ competitiveness.

    ScripTeast is organized by the Independent Film Foundation, supported by Media Program of EU, National Center for Culture, Apple Film Production, and Polish Film Institute, in cooperation with the European Film Academy, Producers Network, ACE Program and Film New Europe.
