The film is a low budget independent Romanian production between Andrei Creţulescu with Kinosseur Productions (www.kinosseur.ro) and Dan Burlac with Elefant Film, with the support of Zenith Media (www.zenithmedia.ro) and HBO Romania (www.hbo.ro).
Digital Cube (www.digitalcube.ro) is handling the color grading, while the sound is mixed at Chainsaw Europe (www.chainsaweurope.com). The film was shot on location in Bucharest in the fall of 2011. Piersic wrote the script and is one of the leading actors.
"It's a fresh approach to genre cinema - and something quite different compared to the new Romanian cinema," Creţulescu told FNE.
Kinosseur and Elefant Film will start pre-sales at the Belinale 2012. The Romanian cinema release is set for fall 2012. The movie was already sold to HBO Romania for a pay TV premiere in summer 2013.
