BUCHAREST: The National Centre for Cinema will hold two sessions for production grants, with the contests open on 12 May and 12 November 2014.
The first session will close on 13 June 2014 and the second on 15 December 2014. This is the first time the Administration Council of CNC has decided in advance the dates for both sessions for the following year.
Because of lack of funding, CNC has organised only one session per year since 2011. The 2013 session opened on 13 November with three times more funding at stake compared to the previous session.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
