PRODUCTION: Dinu Tănase Develops Who Killed Christmas

    BUCHAREST: Dinu Tănase’s Who Killed Christmas, a drama about cruelty and violence in the countryside, is set for shooting in November 2015.

    The story of Who Killed Christmas/Cine a ucis Crăciunul is set in a village by a river, in a family where things get crazy and lead to a crime. The script is written by Bogdan Rareş.

    Marius Theodor Barna is producing through Paradox Film. The project received a production grant of 184,574 EUR/814,000 RON from the Romanian National Film Center in October 2014. The budget is approximately 600,000 EUR, Barna told FNE. The film is still open for coproduction possibilities.

    The producers have scheduled 25 shooting days on location with the premiere set for autumn 2016.
