Written by Muntean together with his regular co-authors Răzvan Rădulescu and Alexandru Baciu, One Floor Below tells the story of a man who finds himself in a moral dilemma after being witness to a crime. The film stars Teo Corban (Aferim!, Hi Film, Klas Film, Endorfilm , Mulberry Development). The cast includes: Iulian Postelnicu, Oxana Moravec, Ionuţ Bora, Adrian Văncică and Ioana Flora. Tudor Lucaciu is the DoP.

The film is Muntean’s first international coproduction. Romania’s Multimedia Est is producing in coproduction with France’s Les Films de l’Après-midi, Germany’s Neue Mediopolis Filmproduktion and Sweden’s Bleck Film&TV AB. The project is supported by the Romanian National Film Center, the MEDIA Programme, the Swedish regional film fund Film I Väst, and the French CNC through the programme Aide aux Cinémas du Monde.

The Romanian premiere is set for autumn 2015.
