Romania's online ad market might increase up to 20 million euro this year, an estimated 20-30% more than 2009, according to the local specialists.
In 2011 or 2012 the online advertising could overtake print advertising, says Bogdan Enoiu, managing director McCann WorldGroup Romania. He who expects the ad market to drop 10-15% in 2010, with print advertising decreasing as much as 50% in 2010.
While the ad market decreased with 25-30% in 2009, the online market increased, following a major jump in 2008 when it grew 70% over 2007. For 2010 experts foresee an increased specialization as well as new clients from traditional media.
