Romanians and Hungarians meet at documentary festival

    The fifth edition of the Romanian-Hungarian Documentary Film festival opened May 12 in Miercuera-Cuic.

    According to local reports, the festival, which runs through May 18, will screen 44 documentaries. The line-up is comprised of films by Hungarian filmmakers, ethnic Hungarian filmmakers living in Romania, and local Romanian filmmakers. Hungarian director Sandor Sara chairs the jury.

    The festival is organized by the Hungarian Cultural Centre in Bucharest, and organized by festival chairman Mihaly Beke.
