FNE at Adana Golden Boll Film Festival 2010: National Competition: Five Cities

    Five Cities directed by Onur Unlu is the story of five people crossing from Eskisehir to Istanbul. It is a production of Eflatun Film (www.eflatunfilm.com), founded by Unlu. The company also provides of screenwriting services for TV series and films.

    The cast includes veteran actor Bulent Emin Yarar known for the Reha Erdem movie Mommy I'm Not Scared, and Ahmet Rifat Sungar the young star of Nuri Bilge Ceyhan's 3 Monkeys.

    Five Cities was released 9 April, 2010 in Turkey. An art house film, it garnered 3500 admissions in domestic distribution.

    The film has already earned a best screenwriting award in Turkey. The director is a known for his unusual films made in different genres. He directed the film-noir Cop (Polis) with Haluk Bilginer, the fantasy film Kid (Cocuk), the science-fiction film Son of the Sun (Gunesin Oglu) and wrote Bitter Love (Aci Ask) a breaktrough Yesilcam melodrama.
