Docstories Black Sea: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

    Docstories Black Sea is a unique training initiative of IDFA, IDFAcademy, Art-Doc and the Noosfera Foundation, focusing on documentary storytelling. The workshop deals with different techniques of building a storyline, with innovative dramaturgical structures, new TV formats and web documentaries. Internationally renowned tutors and experts will train 15 selected participants who can apply with projects at the development as well as at the rough-cut stage.


    Documentary directors, editors, producers and other TV or media professionals from the greater Black Sea region (Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Byelorussia) may apply. A certain number of EU nationals will be also accepted. The selected applicants will take part in three workshop-sessions: Tbilisi (Georgia), Sibiu (Romania) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands) during IDFA 2012 and the IDFAcademy. They will take part in all industry events of the festival and they will present their projects at the most important doc event in Europe.


    Docstories Black Sea is supported by Media Mundus, the Open Society Foundation (Georgia), Astra Film Fest (Romania) & the Goethe Institute.
