Bollywood returns to India

Monday (28th April) was the last day of Bollywood adventure in Warsaw. Indian team of filmmakers, director and producer Sajid Nadiadwala and actors - Salman Khan, Randeep Hooda and Jacqueline Fernandez, are coming home today.

Over two hundred persons team of filmmakers from India, Germany and Poland, nearly 30 stunts and dozens of extras for 16 days took part in the biggest movie action scenes shot so far in Poland.
During several spring days, the capital was a background of many action scenes and stunt evolutions, including police chases, reckless driving on the roof of the bus, risky jump from the 30th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science, the fall of the bus from the Bridge of Gdansk and the spectacular explosion of the helicopter.

This days were very intense. It is not the first time we worked with the Indians. For the first time, however, on such a huge scale. Today, "Kick", even weeks before the premiere, raises strong emotions throughout the world. The bar was set very high. We are pleased that we were able to meet the expectations. We are very satisfied with the cooperation with the Indian partners. My thanks go also to Polish partners, without whose realization would be neither so fruitful, nor so enjoyable: the Capital City of Warsaw, the Polish Tourist Organisation, Warsaw Tourist Organisation and Film Commission Poland – sums Krzysztof Sołek, President of Film Polska Productions.

During a press conference actors of mega production "Kick" did not hide their infatuation for Warsaw. Adored around the world Salman Khan complimented Poland and filmmakers:
I hope that more and more Indian movies will be shot in Poland. You have everything filmmakers need! Also Jacqueline Fernandez, one of the most beautiful women in the world praised the capital: Warsaw is amazing! It has a wonderful old town! Something like this does not exist in India. I love it!

"Kick" by Sajid Nadiadwala is not the first, filmed in Poland, Indian feature film. And certainly not the last. Before us further challenges. We are negotiating about next 3 production, the implementation of which will be in different locations of Poland, among others, in Krakow and Walbrzych. We also plan to return to Warsaw, which was so favourable to us during the production of "Kick". This time we will process a whole movie - adds Maciej Żemojcin, Vice President of Film Polska Productions.
