Marcin Łuczaj joins New Europe Film Sales

    Jan Naszewski’s Polish sales outlet New Europe Film Sales announced that the popular programmer Marcin Łuczaj has joined the team of the Warsaw-based company as Acquisitons Executive and Head of Short Film Sales. He will represent New Europe at co-production markets and short film markets and coordinate the company’s acquisition efforts.

    For several years Łuczaj had been working as short and feature film programmer at Warsaw Film Festival and the cult ŻUBROFFKA Short Film Festival and acted as guest curator for various international film festivals around the world. Marcin also worked as production manager with a Warsaw-based production company Koi Studio and for the Ad Arte Foundation, where he managed short film distribution in Polish cinemas (World Shorts, Future Shorts) and international promotion of Polish shorts. He graduated in Film & Media Studies from University of Lodz and in Cultural Studies at University of Warsaw.
