An exclusive preview on the upcoming animated feature “Journey to Yourland”*, a family adventure that draws its audience into the magical parallel world of Yourland where the protagonist encounters mesmerizing machines, talking animals, science that peacefully coexist with nature and its own mission and inner journey.
Produced by BFilm (Czech Republic) in co-production with Plutoon (Slovakia) and Stacka/The Fridge (Belgium) the film uses 3D CGI animation with an attached stop motion appeal utilizing real-time game technology for final images.
The lead producers, Peter Badač and Barbora Budinská, will walk us through the:
- production process,
- challenges,
- unique artistic choices for the contrasting visual concept,
- applied technology,
- but not least the 360° approach for the project’s wider audience reach.
The talk will be moderated by Silke Wilfinger, Founder & CEO of Silkway Films.

Kids Kino Industry (international co-production forum aimed at children’s content, 28.09-1.10.2021) along with Kids Kino Lab (script development workshop) are the part of Kids Kino International Film Festival, which takes place in September in Warsaw and twenty Polish cities (and online).
With a new line up of Kids Kino Industry Talks we plan to maintain an exchange hub and create a creative community, providing keynotes on trends, studies, enlightening panels, and best practice presentations in order to hone the producer’s business decisions for children’s content. Our audience are European content producers and distributors focusing on children and youth.
