The Warsaw Film Foundation and the International Federation of Film Critics FIPRESCI are pleased to invite young film critics to Warsaw to report on the films presented at the 30th Warsaw Film Festival (October 10-19th, 2014) and on the events of the 10th CentEast Market Warsaw (October 17-19th, 2014).

On Friday, 29 August, the Horizons competition section at the 71st Venice International Film Festival will screen the Croatian-French-Macedonian-Serbian film These Are the Rules, written and directed by Ognjen Sviličić.

Two out of three main awards of the 20th anniversary edition of Sarajevo Film festival went to Croatian entries: the best short fiction film is The Chicken by Una Gunjak, and the best documentary film is Naked Island by Tiha K. Gudac. A special mention in documentary competition went to Happily Ever After by Tatjana Božić, whereas industry programmes gave their awards to A Two Way Mirror by Katarina Zrinka Matijević Veličan and Our Everyday Life by Ines Tanović.
