BUDAPEST: Hungary will raise its production incentives from 25% to 30%. The submission of the Hungarian Film Fund approved by the European Commission aims at preserving its competitiveness in Europe.

Croatia Announces Production, Minority Coproduction and Development Grants - July 2018
Croatia 19-07-2018The following grants were announced by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre on 13 July 2018.
RIGA: The 4th edition of the European Script Meeting (23-24 October 2018), the main industry event of the Riga International Film Festival (18-31 October 2018), launches call for applications.
Submissions are now open for one of the Riga International Film Festival's (RIGA IFF) core industry events – the 4th edition of European Script Meeting, which will take place on October 23-24, 2018.
The 21st Guanajuato International Film Festival will include the screenings of four Croatian films. Cyclists by Veljko Popović and ‘The Stranger’ In My Head by Petra Balekić will screen in competition, while Into the Blue by Antoneta Alamat Kusijanović and The Lovetts by Igor Bezinović will screen out of competition. The festival will take place in Guanajuato and San Miguel from July 20th to 29th.
BELGRADE: The Serbian/French/Croatian/Iranian/Qatar coproduction The Load by Ognjen Glavonić was sold by New Europe Film Sales to Grasshopper Films in the USA.
KAZIMIERZ DOLNY/JANOWIEC: The 12th edition of Film and Art Festival Two Riversides in Kazimierz Dolny – Janowiec will run from 28 July to 5 August 2018. The festival has an international short films competition.
PRAGUE: Applications for MIDPOINT Feature Launch 2019 , MIDPOINT Shorts 2019 and MIDPOINT TV Launch 2019 can be sent in until 21 September 2018.
