American comedy Enough Said by director Nicole Holofcener, premiered at the film festival Toronto, will open the 15th International Film Festival Bratislava. The ceremonial opening will take place on 6 November in the premises of Kino Nostalgia, in the social house NIVY – in the first Bratislava classical digitalised cinema.

Out of 76 national submissions for the Nomination for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, 20 films by EAVE graduates are representing their country in the race for the next Foreign Language Academy Award:

Selection of the best of the current world documentary films production, a wide palette of genres, methods and styles – this is what the 15th IFF Bratislava Competition of Documentary Films will offer. The jubilee 15th year of the IFF Bratislava will take place from 6 to 12 November and will, traditionally, offer unrepeatable festival atmosphere, this time directly in the city centre, in pleasant ambiance of five city cinemas.

15 th International Film Festival Bratislava will offer its visitors diverse films from all over the world. Within the section Panorama, it will present also the latest film of the Chinese filmmaster Jia Zhangke, or a thriller by the Polish director Wojtek Smarzowski. The IFF Bratislava will take place from 6 to 12 November in stone cinemas of the Bratislava city centre.

LJUBLJANA: The 24th edition of the Ljubljana IFF, LiFFe opens on 6 November 2013, running through 17 November, with a ten films vying in the main competition for the Kingfisher award.

VILNIUS: Four Lithuanian documentaries, including one Lithuanian/German coproduction, will have their premieres during the Scanorama film festival, which takes place 7- 24 November 2013 in four cities across Lithuania.
