PÖFF main programme awards announced

    The awards of 15th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival were announced in the evening of 30 November at Nokia Concert Hall.

    BEST CINEMATOGRAPHER
    MART TANIEL (The Idiot / Idioot, Estonia)
    „For their clear visual style that is an integral part to all the creative forces that contributed to the director's interpretation of the idiot“.


    FIPRESCI Award for Best Baltic Film
    BARZAKH (Director Mantas Kvedaravicius, Finland / Lithuania)
    „BARZAKH is clearly a film about a political issue but conveyed through a strong and personal visual language which avoids sentimentalism and respectfully participates in the process of registering a human tragedy“.
