Rest in Peace series produced by Ring MultimediaZAGREB: Croatian dramatic TV series Rest in Peace has been acquired by the Belgian Flemish Radio and Television (VRT). This is the first series developed by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre to be broadcast in Western Europe.
The series, created and produced and by Dario Vince through Ring Multimedia, was also the first Croatian series to be sold to the US at the beginning of 2014 when Lionsgate bought remake rights.
Eccho Rights from Sweden is handling the sales. Rest in Peace is a crime procedural starring Judita Frankovic and Miodrag Krivokapic as a young journalist and a retired prison guard investigating secrets from a prison cemetery. The series was financed by the Croatian public television HRT.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region.
