PRAGUE: Slovak operator Antik Telecom can now provide paid satellite TV service in the Czech Republic, as its subsidiary Tango Bohemia won a license for satellite radio and TV broadcasting. The Czech Radio and TV Broadcasting Council (RRTV) awarded the license for the territory of the Czech Republic.

Antik Telecom launched its satellite DTH platform Antik Sat in November 2015. Originally, the service was provided only to current customers of the operator. Recently, the operator started providing its hybrid platform to a broad public in Slovakia. Telekom Austria Group (TAG) provides satellite services for the operator.
