RIGA: A total of 25 projects take part in the new edition of Baltic Sea Docs, the co-financing forum of international documentary projects held in Riga from 3 to 7 September 2019.
In addition to the public pitching session, the forum holds preparatory workshops and seminars open not only to BSD participants, but also to students and representatives of the Latvian film scene. Apart from the professional activities, a programme of the highest quality documentaries is offered to the general public in Riga and the largest Latvian cities.
BSD is organised by the National Film Centre of Latvia, with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia, the Creative Europe MEDIA programme and the Riga City Council. The largest financial support comes from the EU funded Creative Europe MEDIA programme.
