From April through June, MTV attracted 33% of viewers, compared with 26.9% during the first quarter of 2008, and 26.8% during the fourth quarter of 2007.
Private commercial channel One TV was in second place, dropping to 15.1% of viewers in the second quarter, compared to 21% in the first quarter of 2008. Italy's Rai 1 knocked Net TV out of third place. Rai 1 claimed 11.6% of viewers, a jump from just 3.1% during the first quarter. Net TV moved down to fourth place with 8.%% of viewers, a drop from 13.4% during the first quarter.
