Fundacja Wspierania Kultury Filmowej Cyrk Edison runs two arthouse cinemas in Krakow: Agrafka Cinema, a member of Europa Cinemas Network, and KIKA Cinema, a candidate for the Europa Cinemas Network. It also publishes of a nationwide magazine dedicated to arthouse films.

The conference will cover audience development, film education in cinemas and the issue of arthouse cinemas presenting some more artistic and ambitious programme. Panel chairs will come from Poland and the Czech Republic. The programme also includes pre-screenings of six films dedicated specifically to arthouse cinemas.
