KRAKOW: The Krakow Film Festival has started it's Focus on Lithuania section with a total of eight films. The programme features mainly documentary films, as well as fiction and animation.

Films shown in the focus include Master and Tatyana, directed by Giedrė Žickytė and produced by Just a Moment, and the short documentary Lucky Year, directed and produced by Rimantas Gruodis for Studija Periferija.

"We hope that the Krakow Film Festival will be a perfect opportunity for its guests and visitors to get to know and come to appreciate Lithuanian cinema. Furthermore, we seek to create opportunities for Lithuanian and Polish film-makers to meet and discuss coproduction possibilities”, said Roland Kvietkauskas, director of the Lithuanian Film Centre. The 55th Krakow Film Festival is running from 30 May until 7 June 2015.
