French/Polish Coproduction to Be Released in France

    WARSAW: Julia Kijowski’s debut feature Crache Coeur will be released in France by Zootrope Films on 17 February 2016.

    The story follows Józef (Andrzej Chyra), who travels to France in search of his long lost son. He strikes up an unusual and sensual relationship with Rose, his son's schoolmate. Shooting took place in France and Poland in 2015. Maria Blicharska, Monika Sajko-Gradowska produced the film through Dinten & Lacroix Films in coproduction with Mina Driouche, Valerie Donzel and Jeremie Elkaim through Les Films de Françoise. The project was developed with the support of the MEDIA Programme, Polish Film Institute and the French CNC.

    The film premiered during the 68th Cannes Film Festival as part of the ACID programme and was released in Polish cinemas by Alter Ego Pictures on 17 November 2015. Alpha Violet is managing the world sales.
