Eurimages Grants Spread Support across CEE

    STRASBOURG: The 141st session of the European Co-Production Fund Eurimages, held from 8-11 December in Ljubljana, is providing support to a 24 European feature film coproductions, including 13 films from CEE territories.

    A total amount of 5,314,426 EUR is going to 18 fiction films, two animation films and four documentary films. Among the selected are three Bulgarian coproductions, three Slovene coproductions, two Slovak coproductions, two Croatian coproductions, two Czech coproductions, two Polish coproductions and one coproduction each from Lithuania and Georgia. The selected films will be directed by some of the leading and emerging directors from across the CEE region, including Slovakia’s Iveta Grofova, Janez Burger from Slovenia, Bohdan Slama from the Czech Republic, Romania’s Radu Jude and Georgia’s George Ovashvili.
